Elevate: Fairfield - Entrepreneurship Success Stories

Thursday, February 16, 2023 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Two Roads Brewery
1700 Stratford Ave
Stratford, CT 06615

The road to entrepreneurial success is rarely easy. Ask any entrepreneur and they can tell you the tiresome, persistent process that has kept them awake at night. After all, starting a business from scratch is one of the scariest things in the world. But with the right plans, resources, and mindset, it can also be the most rewardingsometimes we just need to hear some inspiration.

Join our panel of successful Husky entrepreneurs to learn how they built their success and the lessons learned along the way. In this session, pause from worrying about all the things that could go wrong and focus on the things that could go right. One day, your name could land in the list of winning entrepreneurial stories.

February marks our month of career and professional development. Elevate brings unique opportunities to take your career to the next level through discussions with industry experts, recruiters, entrepreneurs, and career experts who share the same perspective as a UConn alum. Whether you are looking to enhance your professional value, strengthen your employability, or want to gain a better understanding of the ever-changing employment landscape, our Elevate events offer content designed to get you moving in the right direction.

While participating in off-campus events held or sponsored by the UConn Foundation, participants are expected to comply with CDC and local health guidelines such as practicing hand hygiene, “social distancing,” and wearing face coverings (where required) to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, the UConn Foundation cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, vendors, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

Photographs and/or video recordings taken at this event may be used in University and Foundation promotional and other materials.
