Passed by Congress on June 4, 1919, and ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th amendment granted women the right to vote. The UConn Womxn Law Students' Association and panelists, Toni Boucher '02 MBA, Jillian Gilchrest ’04 (CLAS), ’08 MSW and Willajeanne McLean shared what the power to vote meant to them.

Draper Chair in American History at UConn had an honest conversation about intersectionality and cultural barriers.

It's no mistake that countries and industries led by women have pivoted and persevered. Moderated by Endia DeCordova, Assistant VP for Development & Strategic Initiatives, UConn Foundation, our powerful panel of UConn Women shared how they are leading during these unprecedented times in some of the hardest hit industries including healthcare, travel, government, and manufacturing.
