January is UConn Alumni career month! Join alumni, friends and family in Hartford for an exclusive panel discussion at the UConn Hartford Graduate Business Learning Center.
Careers are no longer linear. Many of us went to UConn with clear expectations and road maps as to what we expected to do with our lives and careers. Somewhere along the way, we took a turn or two and found ourselves either in a career path we didn't expect or perhaps built a career out of ingenuity and creativity. Whether you have found yourself in the career path you intended when you attended UConn, or you have navigated into unexpected fields, or even invented your own career, there is room for both personal and career growth.
Join this all-star panel of UConn alums, moderated by Jim Lowe, Assistant Vice Provost and Executive Director of UConn's Center for Career Development for an evening discussion on career trajectory, creativity and entrepreneurship, career successes and setbacks as well as thoughts on the hiring front in the Hartford and Connecticut markets. In addition to the panel discussion, recruiters and human resources representatives will be on hand to speak to interested alumni about the hiring process and opportunities within their respective companies.
