Class of 2025: UConn Legacy Stole

Please note: In an effort to make sure we do not miss any graduating students, this page has been emailed to students and their alumni relatives. We encourage you to coordinate plans so that only one order is submitted per eligible student.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025! We are thrilled to welcome our soon-to-be graduates into the UConn alumni family. One of our important traditions is to honor graduating students who are part of a UConn Legacy family with a commemorative stole to wear at their ceremonies. This symbol of Husky spirit connects Legacy families and represents the strength of UConn Nation.

Students who fit the following criteria are eligible to request a UConn Legacy stole:

- Participating in a May 2025 Commencement ceremony (December 2024 or August 2025 graduates included)

- Graduating from any UConn campus or program (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, etc.)

- Have at least one UConn alumni parent, grandparent, or sibling in their family

Stoles are $10* each, which helps us to cover the costs as this program grows. We encourage family members to gift a stole to their student. To request a stole, please opt-in via this form no later than Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Stoles will be available for pickup** at the UConn Alumni Center in Storrs during the following hours:

Monday, April 28 | 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday, April 29 | 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 30 | 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 1 | 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

When a request is successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you included on the request. Please make sure you have submitted the form and received a confirmation email before a student comes to the Alumni Center. We will also send any pickup reminders to this email address.

One per student; supplies may be limited and sell out prior to the deadline. Please note that we cannot mail stoles.

*No student will be turned away due to lack of funds. If you cannot afford this cost due to financial hardship, please contact us.

**If you/your student cannot make the pickup times listed above, please reach out ASAP after submitting your order so we can schedule an alternate time. All stoles must be picked up no later than Thursday, May 1, unless you/your student have contacted us before that date to make alternate arrangements. We are not able to accommodate refunds.

Photographs and/or video recordings taken at this event may be used in University and Foundation promotional and other materials.

No portion of the registration fee is tax-deductible. Fees will be used to offset expenses associated with this event.
