Join us for this exclusive evening of networking, discussion, and cocktails in Los Angeles.
Mention unconscious bias and most people have a reflexive response—usually an uncomfortable one. We are wired to look for patterns, create building blocks of information, and make decisions using that process. Most people believe strongly in equity and fairness—yet blonde women make more than women with dark hair, slender people earn more than heavier people, bald men earn less than men with a full head of hair, and gaps across gender and race persist.
Unconscious bias exists for all and is not limited to one gender or race. The very gifts that make us capable of so much, can also work against our best interest and values. The better we understand and acknowledge our biases, the better we can mitigate and address its effects on our workplaces and careers.
A short networking reception will take place at 6:30 pm before the start of the program. All attendees are encouraged to bring their business cards.
Cost is $5.00 per person and includes food and open bar.
