In a few short years, virtual reality has gone from science fiction to commercial tech. While most of us haven’t used it yet, VR applications have been wowing attendees at the Consumer Electronics Show for years, and the technology is beginning to enter the mainstream business world. Join us on the holodeck this January 16, where we’ll learn how virtual reality technologies are helping businesses save money, technicians fix unfamiliar equipment, and corporations make those annual compliance trainings a little bit fun. As usual, $15 gets you a free drink, food, and two hours of geeky conversation, plus the chance to get some hands-on experience with VR equipment. The holodeck’s meat world address is the Pratt & Whitney Hangar in East Hartford. See you there!
