The UConn Fairfield Alumni Network invites you to join UConn Political Science Professors Vincent Moscardelli and Ronald Schurin and UConn Economics Professor Oskar Harmon for an engaging panel discussion on the first 100 Days of the Trump Presidency. This program is the second installment of a very successful political panel program that we held in 2015, titled The Trump Effect.
Donald Trump’s victory in last year’s presidential election has taken polarized politics to a completely new level. While Trump’s most ardent supporters and opponents look for new ways to advance (or obstruct) the new administration, many others are not sure how to react to what is transpiring in our nation’s Capital.
In this discussion, President Trump’s initial weeks in office will be examined, and some perspectives will be offered on controversial events that have already taken place, and actions that are likely to occur. Additionally, they will offer some strategies for placing these unfolding events into their proper perspective.
The event will begin with a social hour with appetizers and a cash bar, and then the panel discussion will begin. The program will conclude with an audience question-and-answer session.
To RSVP for this event, please click "Register Now" below. All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you there.
Cost: $10.00
