OOzeball is an annual tradition that was started by the UConn Student Alumni Association in 1984. This year marks the 34th anniversary of our famous mud volleyball tournament, so come out and participate in one of UConn's longest standing traditions!

This year's tournament will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 during UConn Spring Weekend. Come cheer on your friends, have fun, and prepare to get down and dirty!

To play, pre-registration is required and is $120 per team; all we ask is that you have 6 - 8 players including at least 2 who are male-identified and at least 2 who are female-identified. 

Current students and faculty/staff are allowed to play; all players will need a valid UConn NetID to register as part of team and will need to show a valid UConn ID at the event.

THREE-STEP TEAM REGISTRATION PROCESS:

1.) Register your team through this page; this will ensure your team is paid for. You will pay a flat $120 fee regardless of whether you have 6, 7, or 8 players (the choice is yours!).

2.) Register your team and 6-8 players in IM Leagues; this will ensure your team is part of the tournament bracket and that all players have signed waivers.

• To avoid confusion, the team captain and team name used through this page should also be used in IM Leagues.
  
• The team captain must register your team in IM Leagues within 48 hours of submitting this form, or your team may lose its spot in the tournament.
  
• Your team must have at least 6 players (that meet the gender requirement) registered in IM Leagues by Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
  

3.) Send the team captain or another team representative to the mandatory OOzeball Captain's Meeting on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 8 p.m. in ITE C80. Add this meeting to your calendar NOW!

If you do not complete the above steps, your team may be disqualified. No refunds are available (including for disqualifications!), so plan accordingly.

All players should familiarize themselves with the 2017 Rules & Regulations and OOzeball FAQ. Please note: Substitutions for individual players can be made through IM Leagues, in the event that a player becomes unavailable to participate in the tournament. 

Registration will be open until Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. unless the event fills up sooner.
