The Rio Olympics are drawing near. If you've ever watched the Games, you've almost certainly wondered, 'Could I have done that?' At this Science Salon, we look at the science and tech behind elite athletes. How does it help them, and how can it help the rest of us? What should everyday exercise look like, and how does it fit into your routine? Be a good sport and join us June 9 at Spotlight Theater in Hartford!

Our expert panel includes:
  • Jaci Van Heest, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Kinesiology, UConn - Moderator
  • Doug Casa, Professor of Kinesiology and CEO of the Korey Stringer Institute, UConn
  • Ki Chon, Krenicki Professor of Biomedical Engineering, UConn
  • Linda Pescatello, Distinguished Professor of Kinesiology, UConn

UConn Features of the evening:
