Can I organize my own reunion?

If you are interested in gathering friends together during the weekend, we recommend you plan to meet at an existing event. If you'd like to plan your own reunion, please email Emily Auger Murray at emurray@foundation.uconn.edu to learn more about how the Office of Alumni Relations can help.

Do I have to pre-register for all events?

Pre-registration is encouraged as it helps plan accordingly for each event. Walk-ups may be permitted for some events if capacity allows.

Where can I park? Is there a fee?

Friday: Visitors can park in the North or South parking garages, for a fee. The garages are open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. 
Saturday and Sunday: Parking is free, subject to availability, in all outdoor parking lots on weekends. The North and South parking garages will be open, for a fee, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Additional parking and fee information

Can I bring my kids?

Children are welcome to attend the Huskies Forever 5K & Lil’ Huskies Fun Run (which includes breakfast), followed by a Horsebarn Hill bus tour on on Sunday, Oct. 22.

Can I run with my dog in the 5K?

Dogs will not be permitted to run in the 5K. We love our four legged friends, but we do ask that you leave them at home for their safety and the safety of everyone else.

When is the football game?

The annual Homecoming Football Game is on Saturday, Oct. 21, vs. Tulsa at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT. Game time TBD. Game ticket is included in bundled price for 40th & 50th Reunion attendees. Separate registration required for all other attendees here. Enter the alumni promo code HUSKIESFOREVER for a special price!

 What should I wear?

Casual dress is acceptable for most events unless otherwise specified. Husky blue and white is always encouraged!

What else is open on campus to visit?

Be sure to visit the UConn Bookstore, Benton Museum, have lunch in the Student Union, or visit Storrs Center.

Where can I purchase meals, snacks, water, etc?

The Student Union, UConn Bookstore and Benton Museum have snacks and beverages available for purchase. Downtown Storrs Center also has many dining options.

What if I need special accommodations?

If you need special accommodations during your visit, we are happy to help! Handicapped accessible parking is available in various locations on campus and all tour buses are accessible as well. For specific requests, please email huskiesforever@uconnalumni.com.

I am traveling and would need to stay overnight. Are there special hotel rates?

The Visit Campus page lists a number of hotels in the area. Special rates and blocks may or may not be offered at the hotel's discretion. Hotel information.

Do I have to register/check in at the Alumni Center?

All visitors are welcome to stop by registration at the Alumni Center for a weekend information packet and complimentary refreshments. Registration will also be available at each event where applicable.

Can I invite anyone to join me?

Yes! Invite your friends, former teammates, sisters, brothers, roommates, or lab partners to meet you at one of the events! Get a group together to run the 5K, or offer to make calls to former classmates.
