Little "I" Livestock Show
8:30 a.m.
Horsebarn Hill Arena

Please join the the UConn Block and Bridle Club and the UConn Department of Animal Science for the 88th Annual Little International Livestock show. The show will feature showmanship classes for poultry, beef and dairy cattle, horses, sheep and pigs. Students will show off their animal handling skills with a species that they have been working with for the past two months.

Farm-to-Table Breakfast
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Spring Valley Student Farm, 104 Spring Manor Road

Please join the Office of Public Engagement to celebrate the Student-run Organic Farm and the most recent initiatives to make our farm a sustainable model for the region. In addition to students operating the farm, we will also have students building solar panel units, thermal water heating systems, and aquaponics growing systems through their courses offered at UConn. Students will be measuring air quality surrounding the farm and will be making compostable soil from food wasted at our dining halls. We look forward to sharing all of the innovative ventures the Farm and the Office of Public Engagement are cooking up! No cost to participate.

Experienced runners, leisurely joggers, and walkers are all invited to the fourth annual Huskies Forever 5K. Open to alumni, students, family, and friends, this race is a timed, certified, closed road race around campus.

Walk down memory lane and explore the newly renovated Koons Hall.  Hosted by the Department of Allied Health Sciences.  All alumni are welcome.


Horsebarn Hill Bus Tour

Start & End at UConn Foundation

Take a tour of UConn's iconic Horsebarn Hill, including the arena, livestock unit, and Kellogg Dairy Center. End the tour with a sweet treat from the UConn Dairy Bar! No cost to participate.

Join Dean Cameron Faustman, College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, and BBQ experts from Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, as they share their tips--from selecting the right cut to creating mouth-watering flavor.  Includes a tasting.  No cost to participate.
