In the spirit of appreciating our history, honoring our roots, and celebrating our present, recognition will be given to 75 individuals who have made a difference in the school’s development and on the communities it serves.
The honorees will include those who, through their professional achievement, distinguished leadership, support, practice, research, and instruction, have made dramatic and enduring contributions to our school’s growth, prestige, and well-being. Nominees may be alumni, non-alumni, or staff of the university. What each has in common is their contribution to the school…leading, empowering, and/or transforming.
A committee of alumni and faculty will select the recipients of each award. Our “Difference Makers” will be formally honored by the Dean at the School of Nursing 75th Gala. In addition, each recipient will be profiled on our website and in a commemorative issue of UNISON.
